Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply scientific molding principles and Design of Experiments (DOE) to develop and maintain robust molding processes, following a standardized, data-driven approach.
  • Maintain accurate process documentation, records, and changes to ensure production processes meet standards.
  • Collaborate with teams from process engineering, tooling, quality, maintenance, and production to identify issues and solve them using root cause analysis techniques.
  • Support the quality team in implementing corrective actions.
  • Mentor process engineers and technicians by sharing knowledge and encouraging a culture of respectful challenge and continuous learning.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and technologies, recommending and managing the integration of new solutions that add value to the organization.


Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 1 to 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience in injection molding, especially in high-precision molding with tight tolerances, is required.
  • Proven ability to implement controlled molding processes within a production environment.
  • Experience with lot traceability, engineering-grade resins, and specification-driven processes.
  • Familiarity with interpreting molding simulation software results (Moldex3D preferred).
  • Knowledge of injection molding auxiliary equipment such as robots/sprue pickers, mold water/oil heaters, hot manifold systems, screws, barrels, ceramic barrel heater bands, material drying and conveying systems, and dew-point meters.
  • Practical experience in Statistical Analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE) is preferred.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
