Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Diesel Technician/Mechanic at Carr Fleet and Automotive located in Chantilly, VA. The Diesel Technician/Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. They will perform routine maintenance, identify mechanical and electrical issues, and use specialized diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems. Additionally, they will work closely with the service team to ensure timely and accurate repairs and provide exceptional customer service.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Technician/Mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and computer diagnostics
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to perform repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer's specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently
  • ASE certification is a plus
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
