Roles, Responsibilities:


LMA: lead, manage and hold team accountable to BDR standards and policies.

  • Job Site Logistics: Oversee and plan job site logistics with the site contact, superintendents, and crews to ensure there is continued communication of all jobsites between BDR and the GCs at the time job is awarded through-out job until closed out.
  • Commercial Jobs to Superintendents: Assign commercial jobs to the superintendents and crews who are best suited/experience for the job scope as well as ensuring each person has knowledge of roofing procedures and practices as it relates to the job.
  • and Communicate Commercial Manufacturer Specs and Drawings: Ensure each superintendent and their crews have a clear understanding of the scope of work, manufacturer specs, the labor and materials needed, in order, to meet the job deadline and stay on budget during the course of the project.
  • Efficiency of Labor, Materials, and Equipment on Commercial Jobs: Ensure profitable commercial jobs by monitoring the cost- effective utilization of labor, materials, and equipment. Also monitoring of material handling, deliveries, purchasing, inventory, shop fabrication and field servicing for cost reduction.
  • Client and Supplier Relationships: Maximize customer value by cultivating long-term customer, suppliers, and contractor relationships with providing superior communication to all throughout the project.
  • Jobsite Safety & Quality Control: Oversee safety initiatives ensuring operations are performed according to policy and procedures in place while staying in compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations. Overseeing operations ensuring roof projects are complete with quality standards in place.


Metrics:

  • Meeting and/or exceeding budgeted monthly quota.
  • Ensuring BDR reputation is sustained in area.




Qualifications, Certifications, Educational Requirements

  • 10+ years industry experience and 5+ years operations management experience


Preferred Skills

  • In depth knowledge of business functions and principles, P&L Budget, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of the company and its products and processes
  • Analytical skills to evaluate data and performance/operation metrics.
  • Excellent inter-personal and negotiating skills

  • Excellent decision-making skills


Additional Notes

  • This position operates in a professional office environment as well as outside in all types of weather. It may involve lifting 25 lbs. or more, twisting, climbing, bending and kneeling. This position involves working at significant heights as well as steep slopes.
  • This position typically works a standard work week, but may be required working some holidays, evenings, nights and/or weekends to meet project milestones. Travel may be required.
