Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HRIS Analyst with expertise in Workday to join our team. Reporting to the Head of HR Technology, the Sr. HRIS Analyst will play a critical role in the successful deployment and optimization of Workday, our chosen Human Resource Information System (HRIS). You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, Finance, Payroll, and other HR functional areas to support HR system enhancements, testing, issue resolution and other technical projects as part of a broader system implementation project.

Essential job functions and responsibilities:

  • Provide primary functional and technical support of HR applications, including security access, maintenance, administration, and systems integrity of HR systems.
  • Support the adoption, implementation, and enhancements of the new Human Resources Information System. Serve as liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders on this project.
  • Serve as the systems and process expert for implementations; lead projects around upgrades and configuration changes to align with business needs.
  • Configure Workday modules to meet business needs, including but not limited to Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, and Absence Management.
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Identify and develop key business reporting and management dashboards for HR leadership.
  • Provide technical training and support, trouble shooting, and guidance to HR team and other users.
  • Develop documentation, including business process documents, user procedures, training materials, and user guides.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology and understand statutory and regulatory requirements affecting HR, Benefits, Recruitment and Payroll systems.
  • Maintain current knowledge of privacy laws such as HIPAA and GDPR and ensure data is protected.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HRIS experience required. An ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience in HR or HRIS systems.
  • Experience with Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Core HCM required, experience with these modules in Workday preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting successful HRIS implementation or similar change initiative is a plus.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and HR data flow into such tools.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and practices, security, data integrity, and system configuration and design.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, including the ability to translate between technical and business groups.
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated understanding of the concepts and issues unique to the management of HR data.
