We are seeking an Oracle ODI Developer to join our team for a six-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a balance between onsite and remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) interfaces and ETL processes to support our data integration and business intelligence needs. This position involves working closely with business stakeholders, system architects, and IT teams to develop robust data integration solutions that meet enterprise-grade standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data integration interfaces using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Conduct data mapping between transactional applications, data warehouses, and other systems.
  • Create and maintain ETL interfaces or packages, including complex mappings, process flows, and scripts.
  • Develop and uphold logical and physical data models in line with data specification standards.
  • Collaborate with business customers and IT teams to design and implement data integration solutions that fulfill business and technical requirements.
  • Document ETL processes, source code, and controls using standard methodologies.
  • Ensure data integrity and performance of data structures through regular data integrity checks and validations.
  • Integrate ODI with various sources and targets, utilizing Python or Java scripts to enhance ETL interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to ODI, WebLogic server, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Lead complex integration projects, from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop detailed integration design documents, project plans, and business cases for complex projects.
  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders to influence project outcomes and achieve organizational goals.
  • Be prepared to work flexible hours to support deployments, resolve production issues, or in response to emergencies.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), including design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes.
  • Experience with Oracle databases, specifically in performance tuning and optimization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with audiences across multiple disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, mediate discussions, and foster a positive working atmosphere.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies using documentation and other resources.
  • Flexible in managing multiple assignments with changing priorities while staying on schedule and within budget.
  • Experience in production support, disaster recovery planning, and executing related drills.
  • Availability to provide off-hour production support on a rotating basis.
