We are a boutique real estate and business litigation firm looking for an Associate Attorney with 0 to 5 years of experience to join our rapidly growing firm. Our work involves pioneering novel issues and innovative approaches in the cutting-edge field of partition law. This is a Remote OR Hybrid role. Attorneys may work onsite if desired.

This position provides, and encourages, the opportunity to learn and use legal skills in court, with opposing counsel, and with clients. Each attorney receives on-on-one training from seasoned professionals to grow each attorney to their full potential.


Responsibilities:


  • Drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence
  • Arguing in court
  • Developing litigation strategies to help clients achieve their goals
  • Reviewing and investigating legal claims
  • Conducting legal research and writing, including complaints, discovery, briefs, and letters;
  • Appearing for court and depositions;
  • Negotiating settlements with opposing counsel and clients
  • Reporting to firm management.


Qualifications:


  • California Bar License
  • At least five years of recent California litigation experience
  • Strong interest in the firm's practice areas (Real Estate/Business/Civil Litigation)
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Commitment to ethical practice
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team
  • Values high quality work and intellectual curiosity

Location:

Attorneys can work remotely from home, or from a nearby office in Sacramento.
