MDM Integration Architect

As an Integration Architect and Advisor focused on Mobile Device Management (MDM), you will be responsible for ensuring that the 26CT is fully mobile enabled and an MDM solution that is scaled to support expected test workloads and, importantly, fully analyzed for scalability to support 2030 peak operations. You’ll make recommendations to optimize for future scale.
- Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as VMware Workspace ONE, Microsoft Intune, and MobileIron
- Experience developing solutions to support large-scale mobile workforces (10k+ preferred)
- Expertise in developing device provisioning, application deployment, and security compliance policies
- Proficient in integrating MDM with enterprise identity management systems like Okta, Azure AD, and Microfocus (OpenText)
- Knowledge of Android Enterprise and iOS DEP programs for large-scale device enrollment and management
- Facilitate comprehensive data collection using cloud computing, mobile technology, and data analytics
- Support nationwide field operations, enabling coverage of hard-to-reach populations
- Improve government efficiency with the use of modern technologies that reduce complexity and drive right-size scaling to meet operational demands
- The integration program involves critical preparatory work for the 2030 Decennial Census. As a Senior Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for various aspects of planning, analyzing, and implementing innovative IT solutions that form the backbone of this national undertaking, including, but not limited to: Designing and integrating mobile device solutions, field IT infrastructure, and identity management systems to support nationwide data collection
- Developing and implementing an integrated operations center and help desk system to manage and monitor census operations in real-time
- Conducting comprehensive gap analysis and risk assessments to ensure all systems meet operational requirements
- Planning and executing rigorous testing to validate solution interoperability, scalability, and performance under realistic operational conditions
- Collaborating closely with Census Bureau teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational needs
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation and solution architecture design recommendations and providing actionable insights to inform planning for the 2030 Census
Requirements:
- Primarily remote work arrangement with occasional need for in-person meetings in the DC, MD, and VA area and potential for short term travel to program sites
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, which involves a background investigation to determine suitability for access to sensitive data
- BA/BS with 5+ years’ experience leading projects in one of the skill areas above
- Ability to use creative problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively
