As the Vice President of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, ensuring sound fiscal management, and supporting the company's growth trajectory.


This is a hybrid role in Duluth, GA with 3-4 direct reports


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
  • Oversee the financial planning and analysis cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, through a team of dedicated managers.
  • Analyze business financial data to derive actionable insights and recommendations to enhance operational performance.
  • Drive an inclusive planning approach, engaging all functions within the business to develop strategic and long-range plans.
  • Collect and analyze external market data to provide benchmarks for performance comparison and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Lead the development of strategic planning processes, aligning financial strategies with broader company objectives.
  • Present financial reports to senior management, providing decision support and insights to facilitate strategic planning and execution.
  • Define and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Establish and maintain financial reporting standards across the organization to uphold integrity and transparency.
  • Oversee the pricing function in collaboration with the Sourcing team, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and market dynamics.
  • Provide financial analysis support to optimize sourcing decisions and enhance procurement efficiency.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive financial/accounting experience, with a focus on reporting and data analytics.
  • Proficiency in SAP finance modules and experience with warehouse management/purchase requisition systems preferred.
  • Strong background in financial analysis within the supply chain or distribution industry preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and understanding of key financial metrics.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and deliver high-impact results.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on evolving business needs.
  • Exemplary ethical standards and integrity in all professional dealings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability and sound judgment in complex situations.
