Responsibilities

1.     Assist in the development of merchandise assortment plans based on sales, trends, and forecasts. Maintain product development relationships, and present development of next season to buying team and executive team with key vendors.

2.     Research and identify new vendors and product opportunities to enhance the product assortment.

3.     Collaborate with the buying team to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors. Build suggestions for current vendor mix with terms and pricing to negotiate.

4.     Review and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends to make data-driven decisions.

5.     Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and markdowns.

6.     Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events, sales, and markdowns.

7.     Assist in preparing and presenting assortment strategies, sales forecasts, and budget plans.

8.     Coordinate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, planning, and visual merchandising to ensure cohesive execution of merchandise strategies.

9.     Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities and risks.

10. Own and maintain specific growth areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising or equivalent business or finance discipline 
• Product Development Experience Preferred
• 5 - 7 + Years of Experience 
• Exhibited history of growing and developing an area of business
• Onsite position M-F
