The Bios LPN Trainer-Facilitator plays a vital role in fostering Bios’ gentle, person-centered culture and enhancing employee readiness through training. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality, in-person, and virtual training sessions to Bios employees and community members. Training topics may include, but are not limited to: Medication Administration, Health and Wellness, Sexuality, First Aid/CPR, and Manager Development. Trainings may be conducted in individual, small group, or large group settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote Bios Culture: Act as an ambassador of Bios’ values, consistently embodying our gentle, person-centered approach in all interactions, appearances, and communications.
- Training Delivery and Quality: Deliver exceptional training across a variety of formats, ensuring content is engaging, informative, and accessible to participants. Maintain certification and expertise in areas including Medication Administration, First Aid/CPR, and other relevant topics.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Partner with BiosReady Trainer-Facilitators and consult on Person-Centered Planning as it relates to health and medication management.
- Strategic Planning and Development: Work closely with the Chief Culture Officer (CCO) and BiosReady team to strategize, design, and implement training programs and events that align with and promote the values of Gentle Teaching, Person-Centered Thinking, and the Bios philosophy within the organization and in the broader community.
- Maintain Oklahoma LPN licensure and DD MAT Trainer certification.
- Administrative and Documentation Excellence: Plan, execute, and document all training activities according to established processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Organizational Leadership: Serve as an active member of the Bios Culture team, contributing to the strategic direction and efforts to position Bios as a leader in the fields of intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) support.
Physical Requirements and Travel:
- Regular weekly regional travel is required.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Additional Duties:
- Adhere to all Bios Companies policies and procedures.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the Chief Culture Officer or designee.
