Product Engineer

GEE Group is thrilled to collaborate with an innovative company in the quest for a Product Engineer. This role focuses on project management, spearheading the introduction of new products to both our internal team and external customers. Additionally, the Product Engineer will play a pivotal role in nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring not only the successful development of projects but also fostering enduring partnerships throughout the product lifecycle.

Design/CAD:

· Translate initial concepts (ICD) into manufacturing drawings.

· Secure approvals from PM, TTC, and manufacturing.

On-site R&D/Testing/Production Coordination:

· Manage R&D panel requests and production schedules.

· Oversee shipment and inspection of product to test site vendors.

· Monitor R&D and production builds.

Inventory/Supply Chain Management:

· Maintain inventory.

· Track and report purchase orders weekly.

· Translate POs and bids into production items.

· Collaborate with PM to ensure appropriate material orders for production.

Miscellaneous:

· Source products for production enhancement.

· Develop sales/spec sheets for established product lines.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

· Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

· Strong organizational and communication skills.

· Experience in R&D, testing, and production coordination preferred.
