Overview:

As an Onsite Specialist, you'll provide advanced technical support to a business customer. You should be customer-focused, patient, and a good communicator while being self-motivated, positive, and able to prioritize tasks with minimal direction. Your role will include providing desktop and systems administration support.


Essential Functions

  • Managing tickets for service requests, incidents, and problems.
  • Providing advanced troubleshooting and administration for various technologies, including Windows-based applications, Citrix Servers, VMware, and databases.
  • Lead technical meetings, coach junior staff, and complete other assigned tasks


Required Education, Experience, and Certifications

  • Candidates must have an Associate's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field, or an industry-standard certification, or equivalent experience to parallel industry-standard certifications.
  • The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in a job that involves providing support for Windows desktops and/or servers.
  • Proficient in written and oral communication (English)


Preferred Education, Experience, and Certifications

  • 3 or more years of relevant work experience providing customer-facing support or support in a Call Center environment
  • A+ or Network+ Certifications is a plus
  • Basic networking familiarity
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Project Management, SQL Database, EDI, and IT Management experience is preferred
  • Transportation logistics experience is a plus but is not required
