Lead Software Engineer

One of the most critical industries in our society is currently plagued by 3 billion hours in unrealized human potential and over $70 billion in energy waste. At the same time, the tech industry has largely overlooked the problem, resulting in a massive need to be addressed.
Facilities management employs over three million people in the United States and stands as the silent backbone of our community. The dedicated professionals in this sector ensure our essential physical infrastructure remains operational every single day. Yet, they’re burdened by persistent inefficiencies which are further amplified by subpar software solutions.
At nodafi, we’re on an audacious mission to reclaim 1 billion hours for the hardworking individuals who maintain our physical infrastructure. We believe that people working in the real economy deserve beautiful, intuitive software tools that empower them in their work.
We’re delivering on our vision to thousands of individuals running facilities around the world. Right now, maintenance technicians are pulling up the nodaFi mobile app to help them follow their critical safety procedures at manufacturing plants, staff at the YMCA are scanning nodafi Smart Signs to quickly escalate facility issues to the right building engineer, and facility directors at the Memphis Grizzlies are utilizing nodafi Insight to improve their operational performance and forecast out capital expenditures.
NodaFi was created by technical founders who have built a solid architectural foundation for the product. Now, we’re looking for a Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer who is excited to get to work on a technical product roadmap that will help revolutionize an industry and provide value to millions of people daily.
🛠️ Technical Leader
- Develop and implement innovative features and improvements for our core product.
- Collaborate closely with co-founders and the engineering team to shape the product roadmap.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.

- Oversee the operational aspects of our tech stack, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Advocate for best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

- Develop strong, empathetic relationships with customers to understand their needs.
- Incorporate user feedback into the product development process.
- Deliver software solutions that directly address customer pain points.

- Understand the business implications of technical decisions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align technical capabilities with business goals.
- Identify opportunities for product improvements that drive customer success and retention.

- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in full-stack development.
- Strong technical and product skills with a proven track record.
- Empathetic and user-focused, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Business acumen with experience in B2B SaaS applications is a plus.
