Cisco ACI Architect - On site in Atlanta, GA


Looking for a Cisco ACI Architect for a migration on large-scale data center to a Cisco ACI setup. The ideal candidate will bring expert-level knowledge in Cisco ACI and Nexus technologies, demonstrating a proven track record in managing large-scale data center migrations with minimal supervision.


Key Technical Skills:

Proven hands-on experience in migrating large-scale data centers from Cisco Nexus to Cisco ACI

Expert understanding of Cisco ACI architecture, including fabric setup, policy-driven automation, and ACI-specific configurations

Strong background in network engineering with deep knowledge of Cisco Nexus 5k, 7k, and 9k switches

Proficient in VLAN extensions, and daily operations within a Cisco ACI environment

Experience in a high-stakes environment with a demonstrated ability to manage risk and prevent downtime


Desired Skills:

Demonstrable experience migrating applications from Cisco Nexus to Cisco ACI

Excellent project management skills, capable of leading project tasks with minimal supervision


Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute the migration of 1200 servers across 60 cabinets from Cisco Nexus to Cisco ACI infrastructure

Oversee the integration of existing network setups into the new Cisco ACI environment without disrupting ongoing operations

Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders to facilitate seamless migration activities

Provide expert-level troubleshooting and technical support during and post-migration


Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Teamwork and collaboration, working closely with internal teams and external partners

Problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcoming challenges

Leadership, demonstrating the ability to guide teams and projects to successful completion


Certifications/Education: Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are preferred but not mandato
