Position: WhittleStrength Personal Trainer


Location: Sterling, Virginia


Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional training services to WhittleStrength clients, guiding them towards their fitness goals.
  • Conduct 1:1 sessions and small group workouts, ensuring each client receives personalized attention and support.
  • Execute workout programs designed by the owner to meet the needs of our diverse clientele.
  • Collaborate with the personal training team to enhance knowledge and performance.
  • Perform administrative duties related to planning workouts, reporting hours, and scheduling client sessions.


Requirements:

  • Personal Training Certification (Required)
  • Current CPR Certification (Required)
  • High school diploma or higher (Required)
  • Liability Insurance preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Degree in a related field preferred (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, etc.)
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality for client appointments
  • Physical ability to perform training movements and exercises, including lifting weights and prolonged standing
  • Availability for morning, noon, and evening sessions/classes


Ideal Candidate:

  • Certified through a nationally accredited association (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, ISSA, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years of personal training experience
  • Strong networker and relationship builder
  • Adaptable and creative thinker
  • Excellent public speaking skills
  • Proficient in strength training and biomechanics
  • Ability to motivate and teach others, with a basic understanding of nutrition and weight loss
