They’re built to help large organizations that are looking to “lean into AI” in a thoughtful way. They offer a software platform that helps companies adopt AI-based models and applications in a productive, cost-effective, and secure manner. They have received funding from top-tier VC firms and will release their first product later this year.
Responsibilities:
- Own the design and implementation of our Machine Learning infrastructure.
- Develop highly scalable custom classifiers and models that leverage machine learning, deep learning, and algorithmic approaches for large-scale problems.
- Apply the latest deep and machine learning advances to increase efficacy and performance.
- Integrate, deploy, test, and verify your algorithms and models through simulation and in real-world environments.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deploy AI solutions.
- Produce high-quality, production-ready, readable, maintainable code.
Required Skillsets:
- 8+ years of work experience as a machine learning engineer, data scientist, and software developer, preferably at least two years at a seed, Series A, or Series B company
- Lead products or features in developing machine learning models at scale from inception to business impact.
- Deep experience in machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and natural language processing
- Deep knowledge of LLMs concepts - Prompt Engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning LLMs
- Experience building deep learning and transformer model.
- Expert level programming experience in Python, Golang, Java, C/C++, and hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.
- Deep knowledge of architectural patterns of large-scale software applications.
- Strong familiarity with NoSQL, SQL, relational, and graph data stores
- Ability to share findings in easy to consume formats, whether that is through dashboards or data modeling.
- Experience working in a cloud environment such as AWS, GCP, Azure
- Experience designing and building data pipelines for production level ML infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Desired Skillsets:
- Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in a startup environment
- Direct experience with generative AI and LLM research
- Relevant professional experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language Understanding, classification, pattern recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, ranking systems, or similar.
No 3rd party agencies or C2C
Location: Palo Alto, CA (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Salary: $200k - $265k DOE
