Job Description:

As the Senior Vice President of the Customer Data & Marketing Technology organization, you will combine software engineering and leadership expertise with a passion for mentoring and developing managers and associates. In this role, you will partner with both the Analytics and Marketing senior leadership teams on business priorities and technology strategies for our retail customers. This includes but is not limited to marketing activation, communications, customer data platforms & analytics platforms & tooling. In addition, you will also be responsible for continuing to enable Fidelity to scale and integrate AI into a cross-section of customer and associate facing tools, capabilities, and experiences. This role will also continue to create and scale cloud first patterns for data integration, data movement, software delivery and dev-ops. You will also lead the engineering direction and strategy for several core platforms across Wealth, such as the marketing activation, communications, customer data platforms & analytics platforms & tooling. You are deeply committed to delivering value to our customers, clients, and associates.

You will lead a 250-person global organization of leaders, engineers, and analysts. The organization will focus on the engineering and analyst skills and resources for the Customer Insights and Marketing organizations. You will work in partnership with Product Areas and Teams across all BU domains and the technology community. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you sustain and evolve our innovative agile culture.

You will have expertise in modern data, marketing, and customer activation platforms, tools and have a deep understanding of how to apply technology solutions, including AI to create modern digital first customer journeys. Your experience in developing analytics products and solutions will be critical in enabling our transformation to an insights driven organization.



The Expertise You Have

  • B.S. in Computer Science preferred.
  • Proven history in mentoring and guiding software engineers, and influencing and partnering with architects, engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable robust application solutions.
  • Hands on Software experience preferred (OCP, MSCD, Azure, AWS, PCP, Jenkins, CISSP, CISA, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of Fidelity Wealth, Workplace Investing, and Save and Spend business domains, products, and solutions.
  • Empowering leaders to help develop and motivate them to continue our strong history of delivery.
  • Senior level experience leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing people and teams.
  • Experience identifying and acquiring strategic talent needs, and strategic resource planning and talent allocation across large organizations.
  • Product management & Agile leadership experience

  • Ensure the solutions meet high-reaching standards for quality, performance, and scale.
  • Looking for ways to reduce cycle time, increase velocity and increase release frequency for teams in the Agile model.
  • Defining and communicating software engineering and coding standards
