Nutanix Administrator

Infosys is seeking to hire a Nutanix Administrator with experience in Hyper converged infrastructure. The position will primarily be responsible to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient operation, scalability, and availability of virtualized environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Bridgewater, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

• Hands on experience on implementing Converged Infrastructure & Nutanix Hyperconverged infrastructures in data centers.

• Demonstrated working experience with Nutanix Administration (including Prism Element and Prism Central).

• Hands on experience in AHV, ESXi, Metro Availability & Hyper-V hypervisors.

• Monitor overall/hardware health of compute platform consisting of Hyperconverged infrastructure (Nutanix, vBlock etc.)

• Significant prior experience performing Design, deploy, and manage Nutanix clusters

• Install, update, and patch AOS.

• Drive regular operations and maintenance of IT infrastructure.

• Coordinate with vendor(s) for upgrade or refresh where the actual upgrade/refresh work will be performed by respective vendor(s).

• Working experience with AFS Management and monitoring.

• Optimize and troubleshoot virtual infrastructure.
