Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop electrified drivetrain controls and requirements definition for various equipment.
  • Design, validate, and debug control strategies of GSE.
  • Systems engineering responsibilities between electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and other systems.
  • Specify battery and charging system requirements based on top-level vehicle requirements.
  • Interpret, modify and develop vehicle electrical schematics.
  • Define interfaces needed between controllers.
  • Determine root cause and define solutions for field issues in electrical and software systems.
  • Support developing requirements such as resources, equipment, estimates, test plans, and milestones according to the needs of a project.


Education and Experience Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
  • Automotive or heavy-duty vehicle background with vehicle control system experiences preferred.
  • Work experience in automotive or heavy-duty vehicle CAN bus and architecture preferred.
  • Experience with documenting cable routing in CAD.
  • Familiar with unit, functional, and regression testing.
  • Exposure to CODESYS Structured Text or similar programming language.
  • Experience with high-voltage safety a plus.
