Software Engineer

Long term contract opportunity in Annapolis, MD for a Software Engineer role. Create a software design and develop code to meet the planned schedule. All work follows established CMMI work procedures and adheres to coding standards. This role requires to work on-site.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, integrate and document software of high complexity according CMMI level 3 processes and procedures.
- Participate in the engineering and development of systems and software for the GLOBALink communications system utilized in worldwide aviation communications.
- Perform unit and integration testing to prove the correct functionality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience developing, testing, and deploying software.
- Skilled in creating secure codes.
- Possess solid writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be able to work efficiently in a highly integrated team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge and experience of Linux systems.
- Knowledge and experience of AWS.
- Knowledge and experience on few development languages, especially Python and C.
