Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid- to Senior-Level Associate Attorney to join their Labor & Employment practice. This position is available in either their Los Angeles or San Francisco office. The firm is recognized for its excellence in labor and employment law, representing a diverse array of clients across industries, with a focus on delivering top-tier legal solutions in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.


Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Admission to the California Bar is required.
  • 5+ years of substantive experience representing employers in employment law matters, including both advice and counseling and litigation.
  • At least 2 years of experience focused on California-specific employment law is essential.
  • Strong background in discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful discharge actions.
  • Demonstrated experience in wage and hour law and managing class action cases.
  • Superior writing, drafting, and communication skills are required.
  • A collaborative, ambitious, and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent and advise employer clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including litigation and counseling.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance on issues such as discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and other complex employment-related claims.
  • Manage and advocate for clients in wage and hour disputes and class action litigation.
  • Partner with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective legal strategies that align with the client’s business needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in the Labor & Employment practice and across the firm’s national network to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
