Position Summary
Under the direction of the Division Manager, the Estimator is responsible for analyzing blueprints and other documentation to prepare cost, material, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.
Qualifications
Education: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or college degree.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year estimating complex/multi-phase plumbing projects, both design-build and plan-spec
Skills and Competencies
- Plumbing design and estimating
- Advanced knowledge of plumbing code
- Ability to read plumbing and construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven track record in sales and estimation is a plus
Working Conditions
Thisa is a full-time exempt position. Business hours are between 7:00am to 5:00pm.
