Tysons, United States CohnReznick LLP Full time

As CohnReznick grows, so do our career opportunities. As one of the nation’s top Professional Services and Business Advisory firms, we foster teams in Advisory, Assurance, and Tax services that value innovation and collaboration in everything they do

YOUR TEAM.

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Workday Adaptive Planning Director to join our Enterprise Applications Advisory team.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm meaning most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

We advise a blend of small, mid-sized and large US and multinational firms on strategy, technology, and transformation, process optimization, analytics enablement, systems implementations, automation, integrations, data management, and more. Join our multidisciplinary Enterprise Application team as we lead clients to achieve operational excellence through developing a deep understanding of their business and, based on that understanding, leverage technology, innovation, and automation to glean insights and maximize efficiencies.

WHY COHNREZNICK?

At CohnReznick, we’re united by a common mission to create opportunity, value, and trust for our clients, our people, and our communities. Whether it’s working alongside your peers to solve a client challenge, or volunteering together at the local food bank, there are so many ways to find your “why” at the firm.

We believe it’s important to balance work with everyday life – and make time for enjoyment and fun. We invest in a robust Total Rewards package that includes everything from generous PTO, a flexible work environment, expanded parental leave, extensive learning & development, and even paid time off for employees to volunteer.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Build and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data integrity through the implementation of best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments across CohnReznick’s Digital practice, as well as other firm groups including resource management, operations, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment of financial plans and forecasts with operational objectives.
  • Oversee the development of comprehensive practice growth plans, financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Lead Workday EPM / Adaptive Planning projects involving strategy, implementation support, and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) optimization related to Finance, HR and Information Technology (IT) operations, business processes, security, and data integrity.
  • Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities; work with the appropriate CohnReznick resources from other service lines/industries to identify, scope, plan and cross-sell firm services
  • Lead the day-to-day activities of EPM Advisory engagements for various clients, including process design, package implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews.
  • Work to land and expand existing Workday Adaptive clients to cross-sell additional firm services and offerings, accretive to their FP&A and/or finance teams.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

Successful Candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or CPA/CFA certification desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience implementing and managing Workday Adaptive Planning. Experience integrating Adaptive Planning with other systems (ERPs, CRMs, HRISs, Data Warehouses, etc.)
  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into financial plans and actionable insights. Experience in supporting strategic decision-making processes.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data, develop accurate forecasts, and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts and insights to diverse audiences, including senior executives and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Ability to motivate and inspire team members towards achieving common goals.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines. Proven adaptability and flexibility to navigate ambiguity and drive results.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of key business drivers, market dynamics, and industry trends. Experience in technology or SaaS industry preferred.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in handling confidential information and making financial decisions.

Studies have shown that we are less likely to apply to jobs unless we meet every single qualification. At CohnReznick, we are dedicated to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we still encourage you to apply.  You may be just the right candidate for this or one of our other roles.
