Our client is looking to fill the role of Claims Management Systems Administrator. You will maintain the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) database in order to support effective operation, data accuracy, data retrieval and user support processes. Serves as the primary liaison between client and RMIS software vendor, providing timely direction and feedback to vendor so that tasks can be completed in a timely manner. Maintains the database by identifying and resolving system requirements and supporting users. Develops and produces reports to support organizational risk management assessment and analysis. Creates functional documentation, reviews technical documentation, works with RMIS vendor to modify system configuration, creates training materials and leads cross functional teams through projects and/or issues to achieve desired results. Provides technical assistance (login issues, report development) to colleagues utilizing the database. Analyzes and studies the data collected to reveal ways to mitigate ’s risks and help make better business decisions as well as improve the end user’s RMIS experience. This role is contract to hire, and hybrid (3 days in office) to the client’s Indianapolis office.


Responsibilities:


  • Identifies database requirements by interviewing users (risk management team and end users), analyzing application, identifying operational needs and translating into system requirements; evaluating existing systems and providing input to RMIS software vendor to inform design of new and existing modules and systems
  • Guides enhancements to Risk Management Information System (RMIS)
  • Supports RMIS software vendor rollout of revised or new configurations by proposing specifications and flowcharts; recommending optimum access techniques; driving project internally
  • Partners with IT to assure appropriate security, network compatibility and IT applications needs are addressed
  • Acts as first line of support by preparing and supporting RMIS users; troubleshooting and resolving problems, responding to service requests, triaging requests
  • Creates new fields and with assistance as needed to configure screens, creates and updates user documentation and guidelines; develops and monitors dashboards, values collection assignments and reporting;
  • Updates and alters templates of moderate complexity, account logins, permissions, ongoing reports and security
  • Maintains an appropriate log of enhancement requests and training, looking for patterns in problems; maintains active issues list for internal issues and vendor issues
  • Supports end users in defining reporting needs and analyzing data and information reports generated via the RMIS system
  • Maintains reporting packages as well as develops new reports of moderate complexity
  • Develops and maintains user distribution lists for routine RMIS data report distributions
  • Identifies opportunities for improving Risk processes through information systems changes
  • Works with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Develops training curriculum and conducts formal and information training sessions regarding the RMIS for new hires and other system users
  • Upload through data import center (e.g. Exposure data such as turnover, headcount etc.
  • Create and maintain administration manuals / process notes to support effective system administration
  • Conducts and interprets user survey
  • Attends Origami and industry conferences
  • Follows through issues to conclusions, drives root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed
  • Ensures effective and appropriate change control is operated in regards to the syste
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and integrity of all risk management, personnel and organizational information.


Required Qualifications:


  • Knowledge and/or training in Data Analysis and/or data modeling tools.
  • Adept at selection criteria/filtering/conditions, report writing and presenting findings
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide variety of people.
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with all levels of management, vendors, other employees and the general public.
  • Ability to adapt through flexibility, stress management, versatility, and the ability to manage competing and changing priorities;
  • Ability to exercise cognitive skills to provide creativity, problem-solving, strategic thinking, pragmatism, and learning to everyday activities.
  • Demonstration of self-management skills such as independence, perseverance, self-starter, and self-fulfillment.
  • Excellent relationship building and leadership skills along with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Associate’s degree from two-year college or technical school in a computer, risk management, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Customer service, communication, and analytical skills required.
  • Knowledge of high end fashion industry preferred.
  • 2 years of experience with database administration preferred.
