Job Summary

The Biomanufacturing Manager is responsible for leading all manufacturing activities related to the start-up and GMP production of novel cellular products for new and existing clients in compliance with regulatory agencies and associated guidelines.

  • Oversee startup & production of new/existing client processes per quality & timeline agreements
  • Schedule & manage biomanufacturing staff, ensuring schedule adherence by coordinating with relevant teams
  • Enforce safety & quality policies/practices to maintain compliant, secure work environment
  • Represent manufacturing on cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time tech transfer, operations, production & disposition deliverables
  • Advise leadership on issues impacting production timelines or product quality
  • Participate in inspections/audits as subject matter expert on manufacturing systems & processes
  • Collaborate with clients & internal teams to troubleshoot & resolve client process/production issues


Job Qualifications

  • BS or MS in a scientific field
  • Minimum of 4 years of applicable experience
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated success in a supervisory role
  • Exhibits Exceptional leadership skills and deep knowledge of GMP
