Asset Management Strategic Advisers Technology (AM Tech/SAT) team is looking to hire a Chapter Area Leader with strong technology and interpersonal leadership expertise to lead engineering teams supporting Managed Accounts portfolio construction platforms.

The Role

As the SAT Chapter Area Leader, you blend deep technology expertise with a passion for mentoring and developing leaders and associates You are deeply committed to giving value to our clients. In an agile structure you will partner with other leaders to establish the standards for your area and influence the strategic decisions, solution development and work priorities, based on your expertise and experience. You will be responsible for a group of chapter leaders and team leaders that directly lead associates working on squads within one or more Product Areas. You actively bring new ideas, approaches and insights to improve the work and develop new skills and capabilities in your area, enabling associate growth while adding greater value. You are committed to ongoing development of your own expertise and knowledge to bring the latest capabilities and thinking to your role to empower others with that knowledge.

The Team

You will work in partnership with a global team of Chapter Area leaders and Product Area leaders in SAT as well as collaborate with your peers in other AM Tech domains and engineering excellence groups. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you we sustain and evolve our innovative agile culture

The Expertise You Have

\u00B7 BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineer field or equivalent experience.

\u00B7 10 + years of hands on software engineering and development experience.

\u00B7 Experience with buildout and standard methodologies for cloud enabled, high throughput, distributed enterprise platforms

\u00B7 Confirmed successful experience with leading software development teams

\u00B7 Validated successful experience as an engineering coach and mentor as well coaching leaders.

\u00B7 Senior level experience planning development of team capabilities; identifying and acquiring strategic talent needs; and strategic resource planning and talent allocation across large organizations.

\u00B7 Experience with integrating 3rd party vendor software. Leading POCs, engineering evaluations and feasibility studies.

\u00B7 Familiarity with financial services, managed accounts, wealth management is a plus

\u00B7 Actively sharing insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments within your area of expertise, across the organization

\u00B7 Working with leaders to develop technology roadmaps, to drive consistency in use of platforms and APIs to minimize duplication and handle IT costs

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
