From initial conceptualization to completion, ZSD manages every aspect of the project, including land acquisition, zoning and entitlements, financing, oversight for consultants, general contractors, and sales/marketing teams. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Construction Project Manager at ZSD. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects from start to finish. This includes overseeing construction activities, managing budgets, supporting the superintendent and field team with daily project coordination and ensuring project timelines are met. The Construction Project Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, such as subcontractors, architects, and engineers, to ensure successful project execution.


Responsibilties

  • Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)
  • Budgeting and project buyout
  • Procurement of construction materials
  • Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
  • Coordination of subcontractors
  • Survey and project layout
  • Weekly pictures for progress reports
  • Pay applications and bank draws
  • Safety management
  • Project estimating


Qualifications

  • Project Coordination, Construction Project Management, and Construction Management skills
  • Experience in budgeting and project management
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple groups of people - both in person and online
  • Knowledge of construction codes and regulations
  • Degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite - preferred to have some experience in AutoCAD
