Production Artist

Position Summary:

The Production Artist position is responsible for the production and execution of printed materials and digital media to ensure all deliverables are of the highest quality in collaboration with the Creative Team and Production/Activation Team. This position requires remaining current on creative industry best practice techniques and staying abreast of emerging technologies. The Production Artist provides personal accountability for the accuracy of all proofing or corrections on projects.

OBJECTIVES & SKILL SET REQUIRED

Ensure Quality Work:

• Excellent production skills are required, and you must be able to prepare print-ready and digital files (mechanicals, etc.)
• Able to translate and apply style guides and adapt key visuals to version materials to different sizes and media, maintaining aesthetic integrity and brand equity
• Possess a design eye to maintain the hierarchy and visual integrity of Creative’s files when versioning and updating.
• Comfortable taking direction from Art Directors/Creative Directors as needed and working
• Strong understanding of template usage
• Diligence in file-naming structures and file organization
• Ability to work quickly and with multiple points of feedback and changes
• Ability to work independently to troubleshoot technical and process-related issues
• Manage daily workflow processes
• Handles multiple deadlines simultaneously and manages time dependably for themselves as never to miss a deadline
• Excellent computer skills (MAC) Adobe Creative Suite – predominately Illustrator and Photoshop, InDesign skills are a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-5 years in an agency or production studio environment
• Proficient knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Portfolio of relevant work.
• Clear and concise written/oral communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Able to multi-task
• Team player
• Extremely flexible
• Strong work ethic
• Prior experience in a time-sensitive production environment is a plus
