Required Experience:

  • 8 years of Compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Understanding of Risk Assessment, Regulatory environments, operational risk, and compliance.
  • Ability to apply Risk Management principles.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders and deliver results on time.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced Excel Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Experience in demonstrating and fostering critical and strategic thinking.


Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 years of experience in third-party risk management, governance, and oversight.
  • Experience utilizing enterprise Governance Risk and Compliance platforms and tools.
  • Experience with the implementation of strategic change with clear success criteria and expected outcomes, informing key stakeholders on progress.
  • Experience in Process, Risk, and Control (PRC) design.
  • Experience working with regulators and auditors.
  • Experience with data sourcing and validation.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute various programs, services, and initiatives.
  • Assist in developing independent risk management reporting for respective areas of coverage as input into country/regional governance and management routines.
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate.
  • Review strategic approaches and assess the effectiveness of support functions and business performance.
  • Perform assessments through fact-finding and data, requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.
  • Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans.
  • Influence, guide, and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group.
  • Function as an advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer-term and large-scale solutions.
  • Provide compliance risk and regulatory subject matter expertise for a defined set of moderate-risk compliance program elements.
  • Provide reporting, escalation, and timely remediation of issues, deficiencies, or regulatory matters regarding compliance risk management.
  • Engage regularly with the Legal Department on current and emerging compliance risks and interact routinely with Audit and regulators on compliance-related topics.
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale and cross-organizational.
  • Lead team meetings or steering committees to facilitate decision-making and support the implementation of recommendations and plans.
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of business and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership.
