Summary: This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a startup company as a Fabrication Manager. The Fabrication Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-20 employees and leading the fabrication operations. A minimum of 3 years of experience in fabrication is required for this role.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Supervision and Leadership:
  • Lead and oversee a team of 5-20 employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  1. Fabrication Operations:
  • Manage day-to-day fabrication activities, including the operation of laser equipment.
  • Ensure production targets and quality standards are met, and take necessary corrective actions when deviations occur.
  • Implement best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  1. Equipment Maintenance:
  • Monitor and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs of fabrication equipment.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Lead initiatives to improve production methods and implement new fabrication technologies as the company expands.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Maintain stringent quality control measures to produce high-quality products.
  • Implement quality assurance procedures and audits.
  1. Safety and Compliance:
  • Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with safety officers to address any safety concerns or incidents.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fabrication operations.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong background in laser equipment operation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of other fabrication technologies is a plus.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn as the company expands into new fabrication technologies.
