Litigation Associate Attorney

We are seeking an associate attorney to join our litigation group who wants to enjoy both the practice of law and a great quality of life. We are a team with big city experience handling sophisticated matters, who choose to practice in the Berkshires for its wealth of outdoor and cultural opportunities. Our litigation team works on a variety of cases, including business, employment, property, education, and tort matters. We are a growing firm with offices in Pittsfield, Great Barrington, and Williamstown, offering a collegial atmosphere and excellent opportunities, including partnership track, for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience working on civil litigation cases in state and federal court. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a variety of projects. Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery is required. Court, trial, and deposition experience is preferred. For the right candidate, this position is remote, with the expectation of traveling to Pittsfield for court appearances and client and other meetings as necessary. Candidates should live within a 90-minute driving distance of our Pittsfield office or be willing to relocate to the area.

Required Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Must have an active Massachusetts bar admission (or eligible in MA).
• Must live within a 90-minute drive of our Pittsfield, MA office (or willing to relocate).
