The Controller will have responsibility for setting key financial performance indicators and effectively communicating financial analysis and recommendations to management to improve financial performance, and guidance.

The scope of role includes forecasting, reporting, and managing a full set of financial statements for the Plant. The role will be a key member of the site leadership team and will partner with the Management team on increasing growth, increasing profitability, and meeting the overall financial plan.

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure books are closed in a timely and accurate manner.

Partner with the Operations team in the preparation of financial justification for capital requests including ROI, NPV, and Payback.

Lead and supporting management in the Annual Plan, Long-Range-Plan, Critical Forecast and Monthly Outlook.

Partner with Plant leadership on strategy planning of the facility.

Provide visibility to plant management key metrics throughout the month (daily, weekly, MTD actual vs forecast) and effectively communicate analysis and recommendations.

Partner with plant management to monitor plant performance and identify ways to improve cost.

Plan, coordinate and administer the Operating Unit’s accounting functions, including AR/AP, cost accounting, general accounting and inventory accounting

Responsible for review, implementation, and documentation of internal controls (specifically the Controller also ensures that we are targeting above average results to any internal audits.
