Focus on helping to create, maintain and improve quality system policies, procedures, process sampling systems and statistical techniques.

This role is onsite in Perry, Ohio, USA.


Responsibilities

  • Perform Corrective Action and Root Cause Analysis
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9100, AS9102 and/or NADCAP standards applicable to electronic manufacturing processes and systems compliance to the standards.
  • Supports production Material Review Board (MRB) process and underlying cause of non-conformance.
  • Works closely cross-functional teams in support of Continuous Improvement programs and projects.
  • Lead cross functional team for development of Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) plans supported by Statistical Process Control (SPC) and related data analysis.
  • Leads in the creation and completion of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR’s) and first article inspection paperwork.
  • Perform Internal Audits to support Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Good understanding and ability to use basic measuring equipment/gages (calipers, pin gages, tape measures, microscopes, etc.).
  • Participate and/or contribute to site Lean and Six Sigma improvement projects.
  • Updates Quality Procedures and documents.
  • Lead and coordinate on-site customer source inspections.
  • Provides Quality KPIs, metrics and reports as needed to leadership team.



Qualification, Skills, and Attributes


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering.
  • Electronics experience with contract manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail is required.
  • Commitment to work with a hands-on approach in a team atmosphere is required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical people, are required.
  • Experience working in the Aerospace and Defense industry preferred, but not a must.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
