Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time HR and Recruiting Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in human resources and recruiting who prefers a flexible, part-time schedule. You’ll play a key role in helping us find, attract, and retain top talent while supporting key HR initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective hiring strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs, training, and performance management.
  • Assist with administrative HR tasks, including maintaining employee records and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HR and recruiting (minimum 3-5 years preferred).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities efficiently.
  • Proficiency in HR software or applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.

Schedule:

  • Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week.
  • Flexible schedule, preferred hours 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., aligning with school hours.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly rate: $25-$35/hour (depending on experience and location).
