Overview:

As a Siebel Software Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in both technical support and development tasks. You'll be deeply involved in sprint planning, coding, unit testing, and collaborating with Quality Assurance to ensure seamless handoffs. While half of your time will be dedicated to providing technical support to the Siebel Catalog Team, the other half will involve Java development tasks. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency and functionality of our Siebel Catalog, supporting order automation to the billing system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the Siebel Catalog Team, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly
• Engage actively in sprint planning sessions, contributing insights and planning out development work
• Undertake coding tasks in Java, adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Conduct thorough unit testing to ensure the reliability and quality of developed code
• Collaborate closely with QA teams, providing necessary support and ensuring smooth handoffs
• Offer assistance and guidance to ensure configurations meet business requirements effectively

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with Siebel (Oracle Siebel CRM) in a development capacity, even if not recent
• Understanding over Java programming language -not needed but helpful
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning and iteration reviews
• Experience in conducting thorough unit tests to validate code integrity and functionality

Pay:

• $50 - $60/hr

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 40 hours/week
