■About the company

As an innovator of food, we have launched a new brand in the health and wellness space that focuses on meals with optimized nutrition.

With this new concept / product, consumers will be able to take in all 33 essential nutrients needed per meal, in a well-balanced manner.

Given the success thus far in Japan we are preparing to expand this business internationally. The new business will incorporate local resources, including supply chain and production.

 

■About the Job

Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of supply chain functions, as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of supply chain development. Determine and implement process improvements in support of sales, purchasing, planning, and scheduling to ensure the highest standard of on-time delivery. Work closely with internal stakeholders to build partnerships with transportation collectively develop and execute strategies within the supply chain network.


◎Key Responsibilities

·      Work closely with internal stakeholders, 3rd party logistics providers, order management team and co-manufacturing partners to ensure appropriate inventory control as well as establish best practices for receiving and storage, distribution, material processing, and　raw materials.

·      Oversight of Shipping / Receiving/ Distribution functions in compliance with all required regulations.

·      Develop practices, policies, and procedures in the establishment of the purchasing functions.

·      Provides reporting and analytical support to inform S&OP forecast and order to cash processes.

·      Develop and communicates plans which ensure resources are optimized and adequate inventory exists to support the organization.

·      Manage customer and supplier relationships; source products as needed.

·      Performs other duties as required.


◎Education/Experience：

・BS degree in Business or a related field

・5+ years of directly related purchasing, supply chain, and customer service experience

・Proven track record of success within CPG operations, especially in frozen or refrigerated industry


◎Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

・Successful in managing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities

・Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and achieve goals, prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

・Leadership skills including managerial courage to address performance and personnel issues and to resolve conflicts

・Excellent team building, interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills

・Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to supply chain operations.
