Title: System Administrator

Location: Hybrid, Branchville NJ 4 days onsite a week

Position Type: Full Time


Summary: Our client is seeking a System Administrator to oversee the installation, maintenance, and support of corporate computing equipment, software, and network infrastructure. This role involves user administration, troubleshooting, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and support software applications.
  • Administer user accounts, passwords, and provide Help Desk support.
  • Communicate effectively with users to resolve issues related to profiles, permissions, and access.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as user guides and asset inventories.
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending hardware and peripheral purchases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external users for problem resolution and configuration.
  • Serve as a backup for team members and contribute to other tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a system admin or customer support role.
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows, Active Directory, Webex Calling, Intune, M365, VMware, and Citrix.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and job duties.
