Russell Tobin + Associates is currently seeking a Business Analyst. This is a 8+ months contract with potential for extension/conversion for successful contractors


Position: Business Analyst

Location: Pomona, CA (M-F 8-5pm, hybrid schedule)

Duration: 8+ months, with possible extension

Pay rate: $33.00-35.00/hr on w2


JOB SUMMARY:


Key job responsibilities (Duties):

  • Perform quantitative analysis, develop data management tools, and resolve data discrepancies using SAP, SAS, Power BI, and Python.
  • Conduct ad hoc reporting and track inspection performance, ensuring data accuracy in dashboards.
  • Plan, organize, and release inspection work orders with accurate scope and timely completion.
  • Schedule work orders by vendor, type, priority, and location; address errors and sync with systems for accurate assignment.
  • Coordinate customer appointments for inspections and track to ensure completion.
  • Create requisitions in Ariba for various scopes, working closely with procurement and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, testing, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with vendors to understand product direction and release strategies.
  • Use ArcGIS for spatial joins to assess access issues related to inspections.
  • Provide SAP support for data cleansing, validation, and navigation assistance.
  • Join visual layers/maps in ArcGIS to create data tables for efficient workflow planning.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data management, including querying, reporting, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with SAP (particularly with transformations, data cleansing, and validation), SAS, Power BI, SQL, Python, and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS for spatial mapping and data layering.
