Job Basics

The Shipping and Receiving Technician will join our Shipping and Receiving team and help to ship Unist’s products around the world. This position serves our customers by efficiently and reliably packing LTL and small package shipments as well as receiving products from suppliers. As a member of the shipping and receiving team, you will play an important role in Unist’s success and continued growth.


What would you do?

  • Handle packaging and shipping, including LTL and small package.
  • Schedule pick-ups and loading/unloading of trucks.
  • Responsible for all products reaching the customer in perfect condition.
  • Bill of Lading (BOL) creation and accuracy.
  • Process packages through Starship and other third-party shipping programs (DHL, FedEx, etc.)
  • Ensure timely delivery of Unist products.
  • Receive, inspect, and report damaged goods upon delivery.
  • Confirm received quantities and receive in Epicor.
  • Part stocking and organization (both in pallets and bins)


Do you have what it takes? You must be/have:

  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and have excellent manual dexterity and vision.
  • Forklift experience or ability to be trained is critical.
  • Demonstrated experience with UPS, FedEx, and DHL websites.
  • A team player able to work well with others.
  • Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
  • An understanding of export documentation and HTS classification is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of AES and the ACE Portal for submitting Electronic Export Information (EEI) is a strong plus
  • Starship or Epicor experience is a plus.
