In addition to manufacturing steam turbine components and other CNC machined parts, Precision Profiles offers trepanning, boring, and honing services through our Hollow Machining Division.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quote Engineer / Analyst. The Quote Engineer / Analyst will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements and specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates and quotes, examining blueprints and technical drawings, identifying orders of operation necessary to manufacture subject parts, coordinating with internal teams, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with CAD and other drawing/manufacturing software.
- Experience with estimating and quoting in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of machining processes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with ERP software is a plus
