Electrical Engineer

We are a growing full-service MEP/FP engineering firm located in Dublin, Ohio. We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer/Designer with a minimum of 2 years experience in the design of systems for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, life safety, communications, and security for residential, commercial, institutional, industrial and healthcare facilities. Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Produce electrical construction drawings and specifications for new and existing facilities utilizing AutoCAD and Revit.
- Perform field investigations to determine existing conditions.
- Perform design calculations and analysis.
- Coordinate electrical requirements with general, plumbing, fire protection and mechanical trades.
- Knowledge and implementation of applicable building codes.
- Equipment selection.
- Attend meetings with clients and consultants.
- Perform construction administration including RFI’s, change orders, shop drawings, field conflicts, etc.
- Perform construction observation and develop punch lists.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering OR equivalent experience
- Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
