Soltman & Wattles, LLP is looking for talented and highly motivated associate attorneys to join its team. Associates at SW work closely with partners and lead attorneys and are provided valuable one-on-one guidance and mentorship. Associates work on all phases of litigation including case evaluation and reporting, client communications, discovery and depositions, and trial preparation. We are looking for associates who have experience and a strong interest in practicing Employment Defense, including pre-suit claims, litigated matters, administrative matters, and representative and class actions. Candidates will primarily work in the areas of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, unfair business practices, wage and hour claims, class actions, and representative PAGA claims. Candidates will also gain experience working in general civil litigation and other areas of law.
Excellent interpersonal skills, oral advocacy, research and writing skills are a must. Experience in insurance defense litigation and general familiarity with carrier billing and reporting guidelines is preferred. You must be admitted to practice in California - no exceptions.

Position Details:
• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $110K to $150K per year, depending on experience.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Work Location: Thousand Oaks; hybrid remote work available.
