Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Programmer/Analyst III to join our team on a temporary basis with the potential for conversion to a permanent role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for modifying existing software/application programs, as well as developing new programs to meet user and management requirements. This role involves designing, testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing programs, while providing technical support and resolving production system issues. Additionally, the Programmer/Analyst III may lead projects related to automated systems development and provide training to team members.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support On-Prem and SaaS applications utilizing SQL server databases, including expertise in Stored Procedures, SSIS, and query optimization.
  • Provide vendor application support by managing releases, patches, and incidents.
  • Develop and manage APIs (SOAP and REST) for both On-Prem and Cloud SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with various SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, focusing on customer service and collaboration within teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with enterprise patterns, technologies, and tools including scheduling tools and code management software.
  • Offer technical assistance in troubleshooting hardware or software issues.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of technical tools for systems development and support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3 years of related experience; an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.


Skills Required:

Microsoft SQL Server, RESTful and SOAP APIs, SSIS, Stored Procedures, Vendor Application Support (Releases, Patches, Incident Support)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with multi-platform environments.
  • Ability to balance development and support roles effectively.
  • Experience in projects involving various business segments.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with IT, vendors, and business groups.
