TruthMD is a leader in the field of healthcare provider data management. We are seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team to develop services and APIs backing our data and certification-related offerings for health plans, provider credentialing organizations and Health Information Technology companies.


Responsibilities

  • Hands-on role developing, implementing, operating, and enhancing applications and systems including data processing/transformation, micro-services, and UI applications. 
  • Evaluate functional/business and technical requirements to identify gaps/risks and collaborate with the team on the best technical solutions. 
  • Conduct development & testing activities using Agile methodology. Engineers are expected to contribute to testing/test automation and DevOps activities in line with best practices.
  • Follow existing development workflows and quality processes and create appropriate design and development artifacts and documentation. 
  • Conduct peer code & design reviews and participate in parallel programming as needed to ensure quality delivery.
  • Provide support, product troubleshooting support, and resolve product issues and defects. 
  • Promote knowledge sharing activities within and across teams through documentation, training and mentoring. 
  • Engage, collaborate, and communicate with other team members in an Agile environment on-site in Alpharetta, GA as well as working with remote staff and contractors as needed. 


Requirements

  •  5+ years’ experience in software engineering using Agile, DevOps, Test Driven Development, and other lean methodologies
  •  7+ years’ programming experience including substantial full stack Java & Spring Boot framework 
  •  3+ years’ UI development experience with JavaScript, React, and/or Angular 
  •  Experience in using Agile work management tools (e.g. JIRA, Azure Devops) and CI/CD pipelines
  •  Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns 
  •  Extensive experience with Relational databases including MS SQL Server
  •  Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns 
  •  Strong understanding of development of data processing and transformation systems
  •  Strong coding, debugging, problem solving, and analytical skills 
  •  Ability to work effectively in both individual and team settings
  •  Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and collaboration skills 
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent


Preferred

  •  Elastic search; messaging (Kafka); cloud computing platforms(AWS and Azure); building and implementing microservices in container environments (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
  •  Experience managing small development projects or development teams as a team/project lead.
  •  Experience developing for cloud services/architectures (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
