One of Medix's manufacturing clients is hiring for a D365 Operations Engineer in Schaumburg IL. It is a direct hire position and looking for someone as soon as possible


Day to Day / Overview:

  • Strong experience in lifecycle services, DevOps, user security, data migration using Excel templates, software upgrades, bug reporting, issue tracking and resolution, and, ideally, project management are all prerequisites for the position of IT Operations Engineer.
  • This position will be responsible for managing security and user access, supervising data transfer initiatives, and guaranteeing the efficient operation of our software systems and IT infrastructure.
  • Lifecycle Services: Handle every stage of an IT system's lifecycle, from setup and implementation to upkeep and retirement.
  • Software development and deployment procedures can be streamlined by using and maintaining DevOps principles.
  • User Security: Keep an eye on and improve data protection, access restrictions, and user security.
  • Data Migration: Arrange and carry out data migration tasks, particularly when working with Excel templates that contain structured data.
  • Software Upgrades: Update systems and software with the least amount of disruption to users.
  • Issue searches: Look into and fix technical problems, identify their underlying causes, and put fixes in place.
  • Bug monitoring: Keep track of software bugs and collaborate with development teams to find solutions by maintaining a bug tracking system.
  • Project Management: Assist with project management by arranging assignments, due dates, and materials for IT projects.
  • Organization: Keep the IT environment efficient and well-organized.



Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 5+ years with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Systems
  • Able to help out and also cross train his team
  • Modules- warehouse, manufacturing, procurement, purchasing, exporting from ERP over to CRM, doc centric, data movement from ERP to CRM, shipping
  • Experience with PowerBI and reporting- visualizations, consolidating reports into one system
  • Proven ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) application experience (coming from a manufacturing enviro they will have this exp)- plus
  • Must have Microsoft experience
  • F&O Dynamics 365 exp (highly preferred)
  • Spanish or Portuguese (plus)
  • CRM exp (plus)
  • Implementation / migration experience would be awesome
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus / WMS
