Position: Audio Electronic Engineer

Location: Sunrise, FL

Salary: $120-150k


Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years experience of designing audio electronics

Pluses:

  • Experience in defining and designing audio systems including acoustics, transducers, audio signal interfaces, audio ICs such as CODEC, speaker amplifiers, and OP Amps
  • Experience with audio test system such as Rohde Swartz UPV, SoundCheck and Audio Precision, and Head Acoustics ACQUA
  • Familiar with automotive and telecommunication standard such as ITU-T-REC-P.1140, T-REC-P.1110 and T-REC-P.1100
  • Familiarity with typical DSP building blocks such as digital filters, AGC, echo cancellation, and noise suppression.
  • Strong communication skills

The successful candidate will work with the design team to develop innovative new technologies from concept to production. Responsibilities include implementing circuits including schematic and PCB layout, testing and validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. You will also be responsible for designing audio electric circuits to meet section requirements; working with acoustics engineers to design audio system meeting industry standards.
