Senior Electrical Industrial Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is a salaried exempt position reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Manager. The individual in this position will be responsible for maintaining a reliable operation of the existing cement plant while keeping maintenance and repair costs at a minimum. Responsible for improving efficiency and run time factors on existing raw mill, kiln, coal mill, finish mills and their auxiliaries operations. In addition, this individual will be part of any improvement projects, with various responsibilities during the construction, training and commissioning phases.


Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer Responsibilities Include:

· Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

· Assist in the review and monitoring of the Raw Mill, Kiln & Finish Mill Operations.

· Assist Electrical Manager with reporting, general operations, audits and planning.

· Identify and research areas for future plant upgrades (% of time may vary due to nature of projects assigned).

· Clearly articulate ideas or issues to management.



Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.

· Engineering in cement or heavy industries a must.

· 3-5 years minimum professional Electrical Engineering experience, required. Power (high voltage) background highly preferred.

· Experience with Industrial Control products (PLC, VFD, DCS and HMI).

· Working knowledge of AutoCad, PLC programming, Power Engineering Software and Short Circuit Analysis is required.

· Understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatics a plus.

· Ability to interpret and create ladder logic diagrams, logic diagrams, process flow diagram and electrical schematics.

· Safety minded.

· Excellent computer skills including use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.

· Must be able to work extended hours, holidays, nights and weekends as needed.
