Pharmacist Inpatient Contract PositionA hospital is seeking a pharmacist with inpatient experience to support their clinical team on a contract basis. This role involves providing essential pharmaceutical services within an inpatient setting, ensuring safe and effective medication management.

Campbell, CASchedule:Five 8-hour shifts per weekVariable days and afternoon shiftsSome weekend coverage requiredContract Duration: Approximately 13 weeksStart Date: ASAPResponsibilities:Verify medication orders in compliance with hospital protocolsSupervise pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow efficiency and accuracyConsult with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapy and clinical issuesUtilize Cerner electronic health record system for documentation and order processingProvide expertise to optimize inpatient medication use and patient outcomesQualifications:Active California pharmacist licenseMinimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experienceFull-time availability to meet scheduling needsAbility to work effectively within budgetary constraintsProficiency with Cerner preferredThis position offers the opportunity to leverage your inpatient pharmacy expertise in a dynamic hospital environment while working a consistent schedule with some variability to keep your workweek engaging.
