An international third-party logistics company in the Northern Kentucky area is seeking an Logistics Specialist responsible for freight forwarding. Sound like the job for you? Read on.


Responsibilities:

  • Entry of shipping data into freight forwarding and cargo tracking systems
  • Provide customer service via telephone and email
  • Arrange customs clearance for imports
  • Create arrival information to consignees and customs brokers
  • Create billing invoices, process vendor invoices and assist accounting department


Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of logistics/freight forwarding experience
  • Prefer experience with international shipping, including ocean import
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
