Overview

CNI’s Security Officers are responsible for providing uniformed presence at the facility to maintain a safe environment, protective service work such as, protecting equipment and material, and controlling access to the Hospital by employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

What You'll Get To Do:

 

  • Perform routine rounds throughout the grounds to deter any unruly or malicious activity.
  • Enforce the No Smoking Policy on the grounds.
  • Enforce the Mask Policy at the facilities as applicable.
  • Respond to Code Brown (Security/Facility Disturbance), assist through disposition of the case.
  • Provide written briefs/reports for security surveillance rounding and codes.
  • Participate in code drills at the facility.
  • Provide uniformed presence at the facility to maintain a safe environment.
  • Respond to routine inquiries and provide information to assist patients, visitors and staff navigate the building and grounds.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

 

  • Must maintain and possess current CLEET (Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training) certification.
  • Must read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English. 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license. 
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material. 
  • Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years. 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of current issues, trends, laws, regulations, and technologies
  • Skill in satisfactorily dealing with customers.
  • Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to use various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
